About Me
Hi! I’m Bridget. I studied art at the start of my college career, before switching my major to Journalism. Over the past 20+ years, I have built a career as a reporter and editor while pursuing creative work whenever I can.
Today, I draw representational art using pencil or paint. I’m an avid learner and continue to explore new techniques and mediums.
I’m also a Mom to two daughters, two dogs, two dwarf goats, and too many chickens. My husband and I raise this family in a rural area of Rhode Island, where I create art inspired by the serene farms and animals in my area.
When I’m not working or doing all the Mom things, you’ll find me reading! I love books and have published two children’s books: “The Secrets of Santa’s Trackers” and “The Bunny’s Tale.” Find out more about my books on my author site.

Drawing
I love working in graphite and colored pencils to create representation portraits of horses, pets and wildlife.
In October 2024, my colored pencil drawing of an Andalusian Horse, called “A Quiet Moment,” won Best in Show at my first juried art show. The event, Save a Horse - Buy Art, was held at the Essex Gallery in Connecticut.

I work in pastels, watercolors, acrylic and oils, depending on my mood!
Pattern Design
In 2023, I completed an immersive surface pattern design course, learning how to turn my artwork into repeating patterns. I now have a number of surface pattern designs available on Spoonflower. They are also available for licensing. Contact me to discuss!
